Dell Inc. which one among the leading manufacturers of the laptops in the world is now come up with their latest technology gadget called as Dell Inspiron Duo. In my previous post i had discussed about the Dell Inspiron M501R and its features and the cost of that gadget. Some days back, Dell unveiled its latest high technology and a very powerful gadget, Dell Inspiron Duo. The major feature of this latest gadget is that, it can be used as a Netbook and at the same time it can be used as an Tablet PC.


Dell Inspiron Duo has got an 10-inch swivel touchscreen display which can be rotated up to 180 degrees backwards and by this Netbook switches to Tablet PC. This processor used in this gadget is Intel's Dual Core Atom N550 processor. It has got an DDR3 (Double Data rate) memory of 2GB. This latest gadget comes with an pre-installed Operating System i.e, Microsoft's Windows 7.


Dell has said that this convertible gadget will be available in the markets later this year. As of now they not given any information regarding the pricing of this latest technology gadget.

Dell has recently introduced its latest laptop which comes under Inspiron series which is called as Inspiron M501R. This latest gadget uses an AMD Phenom II X4 N930 Quad Core processor and has an 15.6-inch display, has got an HDD (Hard Disk Drive) of 500GB, 4GB of RAM DDR3 (Double Data Rate) that can be extended up to 8GB, is equipped with an graphics card of ATI Mobility Radeon HD550.

Other features include, Bluetooth connectivity, 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity, webcam of 1.3MP ( Mega-Pixel), 7-in-1 optical media card reader, comes with 2 speakers, HDMI and VGA outputs, has got a battery of 6-cells. This latest gadget runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS (Operating System). Dell Inspiron M501R weights about 5.83 pounds. This gadget comes in different colors such as peacock blue, tomato red, lotus pink and obsidian black. Now coming to the price of Dell Inspiron M501R, its starting price is $749.99.

According to me this configuration looks pretty good. The best part is the cost, which is very economical and is within the range. Definitely i would suggest my friends to go for this because for the same configuration, i spent $948 on Acer Aspire 5740G.

Yesterday, Samsung Inc. unveiled its latest LCD display screen which is been called as Samsung Syncmaster P2770H. The best thing about this LCD screen is that it can be used as either Monitor for the PC or as TV. Coming to the configuration of this latest gadget, it is an 27-inch display which has an resolution of 1920x1080 pixels which gives you a true and clearer picture, has got a response time of 5ms(milli-second), the rated brightness for this device is 300cd/㎡, has also got viewing angle of 170˚ / 160˚ (CR > 10) which can be viewed vertically / horizontally. Apart from these other features include, dual DVI & VGA input, comes with a jack which can recieve sound from the computer system's sound card, has got an optical audio output.

The price of Samsung Syncmaster P2770H is, it approximately costs you around $460.


Similarly on 17th Dell unveiled its new 30-inch LCD display monitor which comes along with IPS panel and its called as U3011 . This LCD screen mainly focuses on Graphics designers and Audio/video editors. The resolution of this latest gadget is 2560x1600 pixels and has got an contrast ratio of 1000:1 with a refresh rate of 7ms(milli-second) with 1.07 billion colors. This montiors is equipped with several ports which includes 4 USB hub, a memory card reader, VGA input, single Display port &  DVI-D.

Dell U3011 30-inch LCD display monitor will cost you around $1500.
