Acer has voluntarily have made a safety recall for certain set of Acer Aspire laptops. The reason behind this is that these laptops may overheat under specific conditions.

Acer laptop models which has been affected by overheating are

  • Acer Aspire 3410(AS3410)
  • Acer Aspire 3810 (AS3810T or TG or TZ or TGZ)
  • Acer Aspire 5738 (AS5738G)
  • Aspire 5738Z (AS5738ZG)
