Samsung which is one of the world's largest mobile phone manufacturer has now unveiled their latest smartphone. This latest gadget is been named as Galaxy S. On tuesday it announced that, this latest gadget will be available in the markets of South Korea later this month. In this local release, they have targetted South Koreans which would better serve them through localised applications.

In March, Galaxy S was first displayed in US trade fair. Last week when Samsung's Galaxy S went on sale, it recieved 1 million pre-orders. This smartphone runs on Google's open-source Android Operating System when compared to Apple's iPhone which runs on its own Operating System. But, Apple has sold more than 50 million iPhone's worldwide. Sources say that around 50% of the smartphones that will be manufactured by Samsung will be based on Android OS.
